She went on to complete both a family medicine residency and a geriatric medicine fellowship at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, where a large portion of her training was focused on inpatient and outpatient wound care. While at the hospital, she proudly received the Top Doc honor after earning a perfect score on all patient satisfaction surveys, including a perfect overall provider rating. At Wound Evolution, Dr. Savage is proactive, compassionate, and recognizes the importance of listening to every patient’s specific needs. She makes informed medical decisions and is dedicated to providing the utmost care to all of her patients.
Dr. Savage is a proud member of multiple professional organizations, including the Texas Medical Association, Association for the Advancement of Wound Care, Wound Healing Society, American Geriatrics Society, and American Medical Association.
In her free time, Dr. Savage enjoys cheering on the Texas Rangers with her husband, two young daughters, and their two dogs.
